Social Media Marketing Tip

This is what your profile on Twitter looks like before you add a picture. To get followers, I'm suggesting that you (the egg) tell them what you have done!

Everyone has heard the term, “content is king.”
It’s true.

When it comes to Social Media for business or the individual, you need to be interactive, but you also need to be the source of something. Having to produce things for people on a daily basis can be scary when you work, go to school, or find that you are short on time. So here is a tip that will help your ongoing efforts and ensure your success when you make your big splash on the Social Media scene.

Don’t just tell them what you’re going to do, tell them what you did.

You will want to develop a calendar or queue of material that you plan to share with your network. Of course, some of this is going to be about you or your business (it’s your profile). So, instead of reinventing the wheel, why not try to catch everyone up on your accomplishments?

This is a common sales strategy. Tell people what you have done for them to make them feel special. If we follow you, we are interested in what you have to say and want to support you! So, sort through your accomplishments, and create stories about the ones that would impress an audience. Add pictures, links to your profiles, and involve everyone. In this way, people can understand your work and relate to you better.
